Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled/ School will NOT be closed 2/17

By now, you should have been contacted by your child's teacher to schedule a conference.  These are being done for all children ages 2-4, so do not be alarmed.  It is just a progress report, and it is yet another tool we can use to work together for the best interest of your child.  We believe in partnerships here!  In the past, we have not held classes on one day, which was scheduled for 2/17/11.  We ARE having school that day, so you will have a full week of school next week.  Please accept our apologies for any confusion.

Look What's Coming to Our School!

Dear PCP Families:

This is to let you know our school has teamed up with Original Works – the #1 art-based program in the country – to offer a very special program again this year! This program allows you to have your child’s very own artwork reproduced onto a selection of over 20 quality products. These products range from magnets, mugs and mouse pads to t-shirts, tote bags and tiles. The wide selection of professionally produced, full-color products offers something for everyone, and they make great gifts!

Your child has created their artwork in school, using the regular art curriculum as the basis for the work of art. You will soon have the opportunity to order whatever products you wish with your child’s own artwork featured on each and every product.

We are thrilled to be participating in this unique and innovative program once again. Look for complete product and pricing information coming soon, along with a preview magnet. Additional product and program information, as well as customer testimonials, can be found at www.originalworks.com.

We are Thankful!

We want to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving!  God has blessed us all in so many ways.  Here at the preschool we are thankful for the happy, smiling faces of the children.  We truly see God's light shining through them.  Thank you for being their loving families, and for your partnership with the preschool.

There will be no school on Wednesday, November 24, and Thursday, November 25.  Enjoy the time with your families, and we will look forward to seeing you back at school next week.

God's peace to you all!

Salsarita's Day is Today!

Don't forget that today is Pilgrim's family day at Salsarita's in Lexington. 10% of your meal's cost will go to the preschool as a fundraiser - so don't cook tonight. A flyer was attached to your child's bag -just be sure to present it to the cashier. Salsarita's is located in the same shopping complex as Target. The food is really good and clean-up is even better. Thank you for supporting PCP!
